TOURRETTES-SUR-LOUP
A stone’s throw from the coast, between Nice and Cannes, Tourrettes-sur-Loup is a beautiful medieval village. A classic “village perché”, the tall houses built along its ramparts appear to dominate everything before them! It is also a perfect base to explore the entire Côte d’Azur or, alternatively, to hide away from the sometimes hectic pace of the Riviera in high season. Within a short drive (or public transport journey) are all the famous names: Saint Paul, Cannes, Biot, Nice, Antibes, Juan Les Pins, Beaulieu-sur-mer, Cap Ferrat, Monaco and many more. If it’s a famous location you’re hoping to visit, Tourrettes-sur-Loup is the perfect place to start.
One of the best ways to discover Tourrettes is to wander calmly around the narrow streets and vaulted passages - taking in the tastefully restored stone façades. There are also many fine-dining opportunities as well as more modest detractions from wine-tasting cellars to ice cream parlours Appreciated by film producers since 1925, Tourrettes became a meeting place for musicians, painters, writers and poets, and witnessed a significant creative revival in the 1950s.
In the "Grand Rue", the heart of the historic centre of the village, are more than 30 artists' workshops, galleries and specialist crafts shops making it a place of high standing for arts and crafts on the French Riviera. Also not to be missed is the fifteenth century Château des Villeneuve and its superb square. Nowadays, it's both the Town Hall and a host to exhibitions throughout the year. |

beautiful Mediterranean village of Tourrettes sur Loup, Our family home is perfectly situated for all of the famous sites
of the Cote d’Azur: including Saint Paul de Vence, Vence itself, Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu sur mer,
Villefranche, Juan Les Pins, etc. Our spacious villa of 400 square meters (4,000 square feet) is set in
private grounds of 8,000 square meters (two acres) with breathtaking views of the coast, countryside and mountains - only
a short distance from the centre of the village yet quiet and safe. The accommodation is extremely spacious
with separate lounge, dining room and large modern kitchen together with four individual bedroom suites; each having a large
en suite bathroom and terrace. The large infinity swimming pool is excellent for swimmers but also safe
for children as it has an alarm. The villa is a short drive from the town of Vence which provides all modern
amenities and excellent shopping and dining. We are a mere 30 minutes from Nice International Airport.
Motorway access is also nearby which provides for further daily excursions into Provence or Italy to visit other famous
